The Winter Read, there was laughter, there were tears and there was screaming over disco music. All in all, our performers and poets did the best that they could under bad conditions. Everyone still pulled off an enjoyable read.
Congratulations to everyone that mae it possible. Thank you to all our friends who attended and made it cool.

Gerry Turcotte who travelled all the way from Notre Dame University to be with us. He was kind enough to share a comparative reading of his poetry and prose.
Rae Desmond Jones kept the audience enthralled with his brand of smack-in-your-face poetry which was deeply funny and sweetly familiar. A special thank you to Rae and his son for attending.
Alan Wearne was aptly introduced by Lamar Ico before ripping into a poem that he 'discovered' about the poetics of lifestyle in Wollongong. This performance will certainly never be forgotten by those lucky enough to have been there.
The Bracket Creeps always aim to please, be it with dark looks, humor, wit or smiles, the boys never ever disappoint. Special thanks goes out to them for dealing with the reshuffle in timetable.
